I am looking to buy a cat ladder so that my cats can enter and leave the flat through the window (which is about 1.5m above ground). Where in the London area would I get something like that? I don't seem to find it in pet stores or IKEA etc.
Thanks for your answers.

You can make this yourself. Take a peice of wood long enough to reach from the window to the ground at an angle. I suggest a 2x6 or 2x8 for this. Then take some 1 inch wide, 1 inch thick peices of wood and cut them to the width of the main board. Nail them on every 6 inches or so. Now you have an inexpensive cat ladder.
I use 2 of these for my cats to get up to my balcony. They work great and have lasted for over 8 years so far.

My cat has no problems using a regular ladder, might be easier than stuffing around looking for an elusive "cat ladder"

You will probably have to make one couple of lengths 1" x 1" for the sides and some 1" x 0.5" for the cross struts a couple of angle brackets for the top to fix it by your window and a good strong window lock to just allow the cats ingress and egress without letting burglars in. All available from a good hardware store like Home Depot or B & Q

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/QnkM4
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

You may have to make one yourself as others have said. Just make sure it will only hold the weight of a cat. Otherwise you may be inviting more than your pets into the flat.

It would probably be cheaper to go to the hardware and get one or build it yourself.
