What do you think of God ?

The Divine Dictator or Democrat ?

What does Spirituality mean ?

"Supremacy of Spirit over Man, right?, perhaps not just the Supremacy but it is the Dictatorship of God over Man. ie The God is the Master and others and this world are not any assistants but mere instruments in Thy Hand.”

“Do not be under any kind of illusion that God is an orderly to the Victorian concepts of Value system. God is 100% Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient and It can act the way It Will. It can bring in Tsunamis, Rains, Floods, Droughts, Diseases, Poverty, Hunger, Deaths along with Happiness, Richness, Beauty, Fulfillment and what not? It can elevate or demote anybody or anything, anytime according to Its Will and Wish. It can cheat or bless the way It want.

The God may show something that you may understand and He may also show many things that you may not understand. It may show what you call, Magic and also Miracles for which you shall not have any so called scientific explanations. That is its "Maya" or "Leela" or what you can call the 'Greatest Illusion'. You are not supposed to get trapped in it. You need not try to teach God what to do and what not to do, cause She/He know for best what is the action or scene most suitable for the moment. For the time being just try to Experience, Believe and Live in that Divinity."

"As Sri. Aurobindo put forward years back, "It is not the 'Survival of the Fittest' theory but it is the 'Survival All' theory that works in this illusionary World". Everything that Began from Divinity shall End up in Divinity only. It's a Great Zero sum Game. The only difference is that the Luckier reach the Destination faster and the less fortunate a bit slower, may be more cycles of births and deaths. Anyway Everyone shall reach that Ultimate Destination Finally. The difference is only in the pace in which different people move. And also remember that you are not the judge for, at what pace who is moving and who is ahead and who is last? At any point of time the first can be last and the last can be first. That depends upon the Lord's Will carried out by 'Prakrithi' or 'Maya' or what you may call, this illusionary World"

I think that's a little too cynical.

First of all, no one would believe the "God did it" excuse. It would probably make Mary a more likely candidate for stoning (Adultery and Heresy!)

Second, I think it's risky to assume we really understand the laws concerning adultery in Nazareth, and how they were applied those laws. Sure we have biblical laws and the story of the "Woman who had sinned." But it might not be an accurate picture.

Third, it is far more likely that Jesus was described as a virgin birth after the Crucifixion, as his followers tried to make sense of Jesus' life, and fit it into the preexisting prophesies.

If she had lied to cover up a sin she was really amazing in that....she was able to continue that lie her entire life, convince her son he was God, have him fulfill all the prophecies of the old testament, fulfill prophecies herself, have others believe her son was the son of God, have him crucified, and then have him resurrected, have millions of people for generations to come pray to her and believe that her son is the savior of the world.

From my experience, a lie isn't usually able to hold up that long or that well.

So, common sense would tell us it was not a lie.

we don't stone people nowadays for getting pregnant out of wedlock, we give them free health care , food and money until that child turns 18 or mom and dad get a real job, whichever comes first. people are just not as stupid as they were years ago, sorry.

"What are you guys satanists?"

Well, er...yes, actually. But not everyone who questions the bible is a Satanist. If none of us ever questioned anything, we'd all be slaves.
