There was not a test paper when I did it. You work through the elements and write reflective accounts of situations you have come across at work or get colleagues to do witness statements to say how they have seen you deal with something. At the end of each section there were questions to answer. Your assessor should be able to tell you about any changes.

No, because NVQs don't have exams. NVQs are about accrediting work that you do in real-life situations.

What you need to look at is known as the "Standard" which describes the things you'll need to evidence (demonstrate that you are competent to do).

It's a while since I had anything to do with NVQs so some things may have changed.

Have a look at the awarding body website - the OCR one is given below. They publish a range of documents that will give you some idea of what needs to be covered in your portfolio.

as far as im aware there isnt nvq is all work based study, and i think coursework as well. i only studied for short while for an nvq in child care, but left due to illness. so im not too sure.

NVQs are completely work based - there are NO exams involved.
