It's a good question and one that you can really only answer for yourself.
Without getting into the moral depths of the Frankenstein monster (read the book not Hollywood distortions), or religious concepts of soul; you have to consider why the clone has been created.
a) Is it to make cheap 'expendable' slaves (include 'soldiers' in this category)?
b) Is it to be dismantled as a source of compatible fresh spare parts?
c) Is it to create a sort of Master Race (like the Stargate's Asgard)?
d) Has it been made just to prove that it could be made and will then be simply the subject of laboratory experiments for its life?
Remember that a human clone will be an intelligent sentient being, even if it's uneducated or indoctrinated in a specific way. It will be possibly permanently confused and unknowing why it exists.
If you think of a person with the untrained mind of a child (not someone who's mentally impaired) but the emotions and power of an adult you may be close to what it would be like.
If it helps to resolve your mixed feelings - consider this: Would you want to wake up one morning and realise that you are a clone, without natural parents and created for one of the purposes listed above?
Having said all that - if you're just growing spare parts and not a whole person then I'd be all for it. There's no moral dilemma in a vat of hearts or lungs etc. to save people's lives.

I think stem cell reasearch one day will make possible to clone organs and replace them with ease However, cloning an entire human being is different and a highly unethical thing to do. As for the reasons why, read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (the BOOK, not the movies that it inspired) and you will understand.

Well this isn't going to help because I've got mixed feelings also.
What could be better/worse, depending on your viewpoint, than having a fridge full of body parts and organs all ready and waiting for when yours pack up or are damaged. No fear of rejection, just pop em straight in.
But, as the technology gets cheaper and more available you just know that some nut-nut is going to do something stupid like get his /her own personal army up and running.
Weighing up these two extremes, I personally would go for it, but under strict controls.................. Christ, what am I saying. "Strict controls"
You just know the Military are already using it for their own devices.

That is interesting, I was talking with my classmate, human cloning for hearts and organs is not wrong but needed.
They are not cloning a human just human replacement parts, and have not been to successful. Medical science and technology today, is impressive, but they are not God.

I personally think it's wrong. I can't get the fact that as the clone will only the set of one persons DNA it would become that persons twin. Imagine giving birth to your twin.

I say it is right as long as it is used in the right way. Cloning can be used in emergencies such as war or to send relief forces to devastated areas.
