Hi,

I just installed IE7 (upgraded from ie6). I am using a corded mouse but when I attempt to scroll down the page it jumps and gets jittery. I have to sit there and wait for it to stop scrolling and I can't stop it- it keeps going until it's ready to stop- any suggestions on what is causing this? I had tried Firefox in the past but it kept crashing.

Loose connection, frequency interference and possibly a bad surface. Also check your mouse settings to see if they are set to respond to fast or too slow.

Sounds like your problem is not IE7 if you installed Firefox and that keot crashing. I would look for some other cause of scrolling problems! Has your mouse got a rubber ball in the bottom? If so you need to remove and clean the rollers inside.

is there an intrusion under the keys of the keyboard ?
do a scan for viruses and add ware you may have programs running in the background that affect your scrolling.
clean the mouse wheel also it may be that is auto scrolling at very fast rate; try changing the settings in control panel for mouse and keyboard.

It might be your mouse problem & not your IE7 problem

Try new mouse with current set up & test it

Hope it helps

It's not browser problem but your mouse! Change another mouse and try again!
