No you show fear.
You can only challenge Christians with the same retorical questions over and over. Your boring and uneducated in your own beliefs. You fear the truth.

The truth shall set you free!

I agree Kitty. It seems like as soon as they find out your a Christian you have an automatic X marked on you. I dont get it. All we can do is keep trying. Keep reminding them that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Once again I see you insist on making Christianity a religion. I am a Christian, I belong to no religion. So please dont bring religion into the question. You do not have to be a member of any church to be a Christian. I am a member of th body of Christ. Does that make it a little clearer. Its not a a religion, Its a belief. How many of you have a belief but are not members of that particular organization?

Dear Friend,

Bacause realisation of the truth convicts people, many people do not wish to make changes to their lives, i was like one of these. But I have no regrets at all about giving my life to Christ.

God Bless

If this is a serious question, my answer is because a lot of people have had bad experiences with people who called themselves "Christians". I do believe in a God, so now that that is out of the way, in my experience, "Christians" seem to have the only religion that says to love everyone, then they turn around and start hating and complaining about everybody whos not exactly like them, even other Christians who beliefs are slightly off of theirs. Alot of Christians also seem to like you and are friendly when they first meet you, then when they find out you have different religious views, instantly hate you. Why this is, I don't know. I'd rather believe in God, and except everyone for their beliefs no matter what, then to go against my beliefs entirely just to fuss about it. Maybe they don't believe in God....so what?!?! ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE OTHERS, so it says in the bible! Real Christians practice what they preach, and there's good and bad in people with EVERY religion. Maybe if everyone would just chill out about all this religious stuff and leave people alone about it, the world could be at peace for a few minutes. Just be a good person and you're alright! Hope this answers your question. :) Take care.

I think people aren't affraid of Christianity per say, but affraid of the cult like status Christanity portrays. I do believe in God, and do pray when I can. But do I go to church no...I disagree with alot of churches stand for. All these churches are built with wealth and made so lavsihly that it sends out a hypocritical messege. There is alot of poverty in the world, but people will build and send the church money instead of helping out fellow man by feeding him, teaching him, sheltering him. Another point, some "Christians" are so full of morality and ethics, that they point out the flaws and sins in everyone else but are affriad to hold the mirror up to themselves. If "Christians" weren't so busy worrying about what other people were doing and how they worshiped, then amybe they wouldn't be so ragged on...if they set an example of themseves and used their brain for common sense then maybe we wouldn't have some of the problems in this society.

We do not want you infecting our children's minds with ancient superstitious garbage, with articles of faith that include the sun stopping in the sky, people coming back from the dead, or living several hundred years, or even one instance of walking on water. If (and this is NEVER going to happen!), Jesus actually did come back, he would go to the Synagogues, where they have faithfully adhered to the scriptures he knew, and still observe and keep the practices and holy days, and would avoid the churches, where eaters of unclean animals, like pigs, congregate, and celebrate holidays and fasts that he wouldn't have the slightest clue about. So what would you do then? Convert to Judaism?

Boring, maybe. Uneducated? All of us? Well then, I guess the fact that I have studied Christianity for multiple years to write a screenplay on a saint, the fact that I currently attend the school with the largest non-Catholic chapel in the United States, and the fact that I work in an archives with an extensive collection of German Lutheran theology does make me totally religiously uneducated.

That literal shelf full of theology books, lots Christian, that I have can't be of much educational use either. Please tell me how you achieved an education, as I surely would like to address any educational deficiencies that I have in my past twenty-five years of seeking and of rational, reasoned discussion with Christians who are willing to discuss things with me instead of insult me.

Clue: Lots of Christians on this site are most likely sitting there cringing, reading your question. You're not doing them favors, or yourself.

Why should people be afraid of Christianity. You are the one who is afraid to face the real truth that Christianity is a religion brought about by people name Paul, Matthew, Mark, John and Luke skywalkers.

I am not afraid of Christianity.

However, I am very disturbed by some of its insane "followers" who post their messages of hate and intolerance on here.

Oh, now see, you have just added some nonsense to your question.

"Christians" come on this site and ask the same stupid questions of non-Christians over and over again. Then they get cross when we don't take them too seriously.

Why does it bother you so much if I don't believe in your God? I am not bothered that you don't believe what I believe (except when you start hating me for it). What makes you think I am uneducated in my own beliefs? I am very well educated all-round (and feeling too polite to correct your rather poor English).

Get a grip, child.

I have just read your profile, and don't know which to be more amused by: that you are actually an adult; or the way you describe yourself as an "educator"

.

I think you're all mad as hatters.

Pot calling the shiny silver spoon black. There's not one iota of rationality in anything having to do with religion - and you have the audacity to say this of others. I'm gobsmacked.

Rational = agreeable to reason.
Insane = utterly senseless. <- You are here

God is only one for all the living beings. We are irrational when we think our God to be different from that of others.

And let me tell you that even the path is one only. We have distorted the reasonings of the saints and prophets and are indulging in different religions.

So let us humbly dedicate 'our' and 'their' religions to the enlightenment of our intellect.
