sounds cool, might be a tender spot though.

what about your shoulders, like high up on your arm not on your shoulder blades?

and something I always thought was odd about wings on people's backs:

they seem weird when they are tiny relative to the person wearing them...like these tiny wings are going to be able to transport them or something. I think someone's wings ought to be scaled up to "fit" them, you know?

I found a picture a few weeks back were someone had wings on each wrist. I've just tried to find you a link to the picture but can't find it. I do have the picture on my PC. It's an amazing tattoo and the wings have very nice simple detail they look very classy.

Why don't you put them across your chest instead - i think nthat is a very cool place to have the wings if you don't want them on your back. I have been thinkig about doing that for a long time but I am concentrating on my arms for now.

I really really like Kimberly's suggestion. That is UNIQUE and I have never seen anyone with Angel wings on their neck. I also like the idea YOU have of getting them on your wrist. I've never seen that, either. I think tho, it will be less complicated and take less time to get them done on your wrists. You will probably-more than likely-have to be laid down on a cot to get it done on your neck. In most cases, I think the side of the neck is one of the more difficult areas to tattoo.

Good one, tho', Kimberly. I like that idea.

i don't like that idea... it would look off somehow i think but that is just my opinion. i have seen people with wings on their lower backs. one on someone's ribcage. you could get one on each foot like the greek shoe thing. you know? personally i like back wings the best because logically it's the only wing placement that would actually allow you to fly and that is what wings are for. good luck with whatever you decide.

Wasn't there a mythical character (Roman or Greek)
who had wings on his ankles or wrists??
Was it Achilles?
I think it would be kind of cool on your wrists---different thats for sure, I'm sick of seeing guys with them on there backs.
Go for the different.

i dont think you should get them apart from each other keep them together, i think it would be awesome to get them like on your collarbone area that would be freakin awesome, ive only seen a couple of people in magizines with them like that, i agree with *notsureifimshy* i dont understand why people gett hem so small on their backs, if their going to get them, then do it right, i have full sized wings from the top of my shoulders all the way to my lower back, theyre crazy big and still not done, (can i say painful....lol) i love them, good luck!
