that he cant pay for it because of the price of insurance so we tried to surrender the vehicle the car lot said they wont and cant take it back because it is in his name
he is trying to file for bankruptcy and was told by his lawyer to surrender the vehicle to the car lot we tired to talk to the general manager and he wouldnt help us out

is there anyway we can get rid of this car

If he doesn't make the payments the car will be repossessed and he won't have to worry about getting rid of it. Unfortunately he would probably lose any money he paid into it. He could try to sell it himself also.

Turn it into the person handling your bankruptcy and the financing company will reposess it from him.
