The so called "do-gooders" are the ones who started this whole mess. When they were trying to come up with a vaccine for Polio. They succeeded in defeating Polio, but they created HIV in the process by using monkey livers to cultivate the Polio vaccine. The local people were innoculated to test the vaccine before it went back to the United States and Europe. That is why Africa has the highest cases of HIV per person in the world, that coupled with lack of education makes for one terrible mess that the world is scrambling to correct.

There is prevalence of AIDS in Africa because the governments thereat did not do anything for the prevention of the deadly virus. People were left to have sex with anybody without even knowing who were contaminated.

No clue, not really a problem for outsiders though. If they want to screw themselves into starvation and hack off each others limbs then let them treat it themselves.
