Every time, both before and after - and inbetween too and at ramdom moments (LOL). It is about intimacy and bonding.

I kiss and hug my spouse nearly every time before, during and after sex. After sex and some kissing and huging, she usually gets up and I then take a nap. Pleasant dreams.

I do it as a courtesy because my girl needs it.
Me, personally, I want to fall asleep after a mind-numbing orgasm. I just got my dopamaine hit and feel an awesome sense of euphoria.
However, sex is not just about me, it's about you -- so I will cuddle and hold you for 10-15 minutes. After that, I am sleeping whether you like it or not.

If there is love involved which I don't sleep with a woman unless I have feeling for her then it always follows. I like to cuddle a lot though not just after sex but its probably one of the best parts of it.

Allthough i donot have a spouse or a gf, still i feel, if i had one, i would always , each time and throughout my life, kiss her and thank her for the wonderful time we have together.
