My new cat doesn't walk to her litter box... she's 4 month old and i just got her from my friend 2 days ago. I have her bed and food in my room but the litter box in the bathroom that's connected to my room. It uses the litter box but she wont walk there unless i carry her to it, so far she hasn't pooped or peed anywhere else (atleast i dont think / smell anything) but it kinda weird to have to carry her to her litter box all the time :/ any idea how to train her to go there automatically when she needs to go?

if she's not "going" anywhere else then she's obviously able to let you know when she wants to go. When you realise she wants to go, rather than picking her up and carrying her, ecourage her to walk with you. Maybe lead her into the bathroom with a treat or a toy or something. At first, walk all the way with her and make sure she actually goes in the litter box, then gradually reduce your involvement. Walk with her to the bathroom but stand in the doorway whilst she goes, then when she gets used to this, shut the door whilst she goes and try to get her to do more and more on her own.

You might try moving the litter box to a more private area, or maybe just a different place entirely. Cats don't like their litter box anywhere near their food. It is a cats instinct to use the litter box. She will get the hang of it! Take her to the new spot and show her how to "paw" the litter. She will use it. I just think that she might not like the spot where the box is.

Just leave her be, and see if she goes to the box. She is still a baby, so she is learning. Have fun with your new kitty!!

Well if you are having problems you need to show her/him where is the kitty litter and if that does not work you need to call the vet and they can help you. This is the best I can give you sorry.
