"Hey, how are you?" then have a chat.. la la la... "wanna continue this over coffee?"

Well id start up a normal conversation first and then say, hey, would you like to go our for some coffee sometime? Good luck!

"Can we talk?" -- That sounds like Joan Rivers.
Mention that you were going to Starbucks because they have a new flavor and ask the person would they like to come and try it as well.
Subtlety works best.

Just be nice and tell them that u like them, then say you would like to take them out some time.
