Well some one i know who owns a yorkie cross recently had a litter of 6 pups which is quite a big litter for a small dog,it's usually around 4.

not more than 5. toy dogs have smaller litters. retrievers normally have more than 10 pups at a time, which is why they are cheaper as there are more pups to sell, while toy dogs are more expensive as all the pups need to cover the cost.

if you go onto google and type in breed you dog and got under yorkshire terrier it tells you how many puppies it will have and how much you could sell them for etc. and the whole process of breeding.

My friend's Yorkie had 6 - boys and girls all different sizes. Litter size can vary.
