There is an exercise that you can do to help with getting rid of love handles. Along with doing crunches and whatever else you do for your stomach, do the following:
Lye on your side with legs together and slightly bent.
Turn your shoulders so they touch the floor, leaving your legs to the side.
Then do a crunch motion. Do about 2 sets of 20 on each side, you will feel it right away and it really works.

when u lose extra fat all around your body eventually u will lose love handles to. there is no other way

increased aerobic activity
once you have hit your desired weight
add crunches, side bends, torso twists to your routine
there is really no such thing as spot training so you have to do a total workout and diet restructuring.
watch what you eat and get that body moving.

Don't overeat and eat well.
1/2 cardio exercise daily.
