i have a boyfriend who is the most stunning boy ive ever seen in my life (we're both 17). i'm not exaggerating, all of my girl friends fancy him, and every boy is jealous of him. and it's a miracle he asked me out, because i'm so average-looking (im not hideous, but im nothing special either. plane-jane). but he hits me sometimes. i dont know why.
and i can't dump him because he's the best i'll ever have! he has amazing cheekbones, perfectly shaped lips that i love to watch move when he talks, a great body, 6 pack, big brown doe eyes...
but it hurts. i have bruises, but where other people cant see them, like my torso- he says its for my own good. i guess its because i look ugly to him. he is above me in beauty.
and he's never got really violent, like knives and stuff, only punches. what shall i do? dumping is not an option.

he's not angry when he does it. it's when we're alone, and he says stuff like "just take it, you'll feel so much better for it."
and then afterwards he smiles and is really nice to me. why does he enjoy it??

Where in the h311 did you get the idea that a guy who hits you is the best you'll ever have?!? You have low self-esteem, honey -- that's why he's with you, he knows that you'll put up with his crap. Dumping is not an option, you say? Are you happy being the place where he dumps his emotional garbage?
If you loved yourself as much as you think you love him (but not quite as much as he loves himself) you would not only dump this guy, you'd call the police on him the next time he hit you (that's assault, luv; it's against the law for a reason). Prettier girls with healthier self images would do that, which is why he's not dating one of them. You say that he's never gotten really violent, but these things tend to escalate over time -- women get killed by abusive boyfriends and husbands every year. Put this evil s.o.b. away before he seriously harms you or someone else.

First of all satan was the most beautiful creation in the beginning.Second,he could end up making you crippled for the rest of your life,and don't think he would hang around to take care of you,it's not worth it.I still have pain from my husband abusing me13 years ago.You are smart(I can tell by the way you spell)and you are worth so much,God(Jesus)loves you so much,if you would ask Him to come live in your heart He would give you everything that you need.And it would be sooooooooooooo much better than being abused by some good looking guy.God would give you a better looking guy that treats you good.You have to have faith first though.

WHY do you care what your friends think of him? You know, I will never understand girls like you . . . there are RANKS of nice guys out there, aching for affection, and so many girls date chumps like the one you're talking about instead. I find it so hard to pity girls who date scum like that, because they could very easily get out and find a nice fellow to be with. Let me tell you something, it's no accident that he asked you out. He asked you, a plain Jane, out because he could hold a disproportionate amount of power in the relationship. Not only are you constantly afraid of losing him, but he beats you up too. Sounds like you both have low self-esteem. Really, things will not get any better with this guy. I've advised enough people and seen enough cases like this to know that you are in a dead-end situation. Dump him as soon as possible. Good night!

Guess you will just have to admire his beauty through the eye he doesn't blast you in, at least until he beats you to death someday. Its sad because I am sure there are plenty of men who would respect, love and treat you the way you truly deserve but after all they might not be as beautiful to look at, you need to get your confidence up and your head straight and get away from this loser.
