This guy has smoked for over 10 years. A couple times a day. He doesn't seem to be the same person. Looses his temper and seems more selfish than usual. And other things too. Is that because of the pot?

YEs. It contains psychoactive drugs that screw around with our Brain Chemistry. You have described why I hate Potheads. I don't know why people tell me pot always makes a man mellow. I think when they get off the stuff they snap. I had two Potheads in my old work place. One told me that he thinks the other was on crack as well and that is why she gets moody. Your friend might also have moved into harder stuff.

yes, smoking makes you lazy, angry, paranoid, forget-full and always in a daze so whether he is selfish or not. he always be in his own world, with an inability to think past himself. his ability to cope with crisis will be diminished so he is open to developing psychological conditions as well. the trouble with most drugs is the user spends more time coming down off them compared to the time of the actual high period. so yeah it feels good to be high. trouble is you are also spending even longer being low.- iam glad i gave up drugs years ago. i have more respect for my brain, we are stupid enough without making for ourselves a more detrimental state.

It surely does, mentally and physically. It affects ones thinking, reasoning and judgment. It makes your personality change. Make some parts of your body even look dark and blackened. Believe me, it can even affect the way a person dresses.
