I'm talking about the road that runs alongside the freeway and allows you to enter/exit. I've heard it called many things and I wanted to get an idea of what different people call it. If you could put what state you are from I'm trying to get an idea of different regional dialects. Thanks!

In Texas, the road that runs parallel to the freeway is called a Feeder Road. This road gives access to businesses and side streets on one side and Entrance and Exit Ramps to the freeway/ interstate on the other.

On-ramp or off-ramp depending on which direction you're heading. Originally from New Jersey, now from Northern New York. It's the same name in both places.
