Doesn't make you insane, although you might feel like ur going insane cause of all the rules and strictness. Parents just want to protect u, sometimes a bit too much but they still care, soon you'll be able to do what u like just wait a little while i suppose. If it makes you feel any better i went out and did all the partying, drugging, drinking i wanted ever since i was 13, now i'm a bit older i dont even want to go out cause i burnt myself out too quickly,my brains fried, now im sad stay at home and watch movies and stuff. And plus i hate all the drunk people at clubs and partys, it's a bad scene anyway. Good clean fun is the best and always will be. Take care try to enjoy yourself no matter what u do.

That would be an ideal life for me, far less hectic. I too am in the house a lot, by the time I finish work dependant upon my shift I just want to relax and unwind. Admittedly this is not the life for everyone. I like to enjoy myself and go out with my family and friends, but rarely to clubs. Its just not my scene anymore as I used to be a DJ in clubs when I was younger.
I think you need to explain to your parents that you are feeling suffocated by their love and that if they never let you go out and explore life for yourself you will never be able to gain the life experiences you will need on a daily basis.
I know its sad but your parents are not always going to be there to shield you and you need to be able to deal with what life has to throw at you.
They obviously love you very much and do not reallise the damage they are causing to you emotionally. You need to explain in a nice way to them.
Very best of luck.

I've ever been in the same situation. It sure felt lousy. Just remember to get a boyfriend that will let you do whatever you want after marriage. I have friends that got married to get out of their parents' control but instead got a husband that dont go out / bring them out much.
It's like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Get someone more liberal who would love to show you the world together.

No it doesn't Just because your parents are strict doesn't mean your a farm girl! You'll have your freedom one day where you feel as an adult you can do what you want! (thats what your parents are proablely thinking, and also what age you would be in!)
