I entered my credit card number and in the middle of the process it says error but I was given a confirmation number but no flight info...

Check your credit card account on line & see how the transaction played out. If your account was charged notify your booking company / airline & have them see what transpired. This is a benefit on an online account.

Call or send an email to the website where you did the transaction and explain your problem. And just in case, also call your bank and check that everything is ok.
