I noticed that I eat alot, I am home alot with my 2 young boys and I am constantly in the kitchen looking for something to eat. Even when I am not hungry at all. I want something besides fruit and veggies. Tried pop corn for a while but turns out they are not that healthy. Any one know of a good delicious snack for me to try?

The popcorn ideas WILL work, but it must be popcorn you popped fresh, not from the bag. Just plain white popcorn. You will have to invest in a popcorn popper - very old fashioned, but that's how it works!

Another good one I try to eat is plain chicken breast cut into cubes. To do this right, the chicken must be boneless and skinless, and you need to grill it w/o any oil or salt. Once it is cooked, I let it set and then I cut it into cubes. I put the chicken cubes in a container in the fridge. This is sort of a "whole foods" approach, as is the fresh popped popcorn. Try eating the chicken breast with iceberg lettuce - sort of like a reduced calorie lettuce wrap. No sauce needed, its tastes alright! Granted, it is no Cheeseburger, but it does the job. Also protein is filling so this is good too :)

To be honest there's no such thing as a low fat snack that has no calories at all! They all add up. Fruit and veggies are definitely boring all day long.
If you have cashews or even better almonds (they have a chemical apparently that assists weight loss) have a handful of those and they'll kill off your appetite and are really good for you, but definitely not fat free. Perhaps stock the fridge with yoghurt, and have some nuts in the pantry.
www.fitday.com will help you plan a snack routine that won't blow out the calorie count. Good luck!

Some of the women's fitness forums online would have a better idea.

Basically anything low-fat and/or non-fat and low or no-sodium. You'll want to apply that to everything you eat and not just what you snack on. The calories wont add up nearly as fast.

Yogurt with fruit stirred in, cottage cheese with fruit stirred in, crackers, jelly beans (no fat), licorice (no fat), flavored rice cakes, and so on...

I have noticed some low fat chips, or baked chips, some cereals just out of the box, without milk...I know you said no veggies, but how about cucumbers with little little salt and a lot of pepper.

Chicken breast is really good because you can eat it and eat it and not gain any weight.
