FLASH 8 Pro- How do I make a button invisible once it's clicked?

Question

I have a button on the screen that when it's clicked, I want it to disappear.

Let's say the is 'target'

I think the ActionScript would go like this:

on (release)
{
target.(I DON'T KNOW WHAT COMMAND TO USE HERE!!!)
}

I just don't know what commands to use inside.

Any ideas?

i really don't think you need an action script from start. i believe it's invovled with the frames up on top. i haven't used flash in ages, though. i could be wrong. but check that out.
