Just give him time...he is still a child. He may gain weight and then again maybe not. If u are that worried take him to the pedi and have him checked out. If everything is fine don't worry about it. Nature will take care of him in time.

The best thing to do is bring him to your family doctor. Talk to the doctor alone first and explain your concerns. Then the doc can check him out and tell you what he/she thinks you should do.
One thing I think you should not do is to point it out to him that he is skinny. I don't know if you do, you probably don't and you have reason to be concerned.
A lot of kids start feeling peer pressure and are self conscious about their bodies. You want to praise your son for eating healthy and being active. Tell him how much you love him.
If he is eating normally and not gaining or growing, the doctor can recommend a nutritionist for you to both see. She can give you lots of ideas for adding in calories to his diet if he needs it.
But, take a deep breath and relax. You are doing the right thing by getting on top of the problem before he gets thinner or has anything else going on.
Best wishes!

Two of my kids are very small. My 6 year old is about a head smaller than most of the kids in her class. She is thin as well. My 9 year old is very thin. I have to take up most of her 6X slim pants in the waist as they are still too big. I can count her ribs also. Her skin doesn't sink in or anything like that but they do show. Her metabolism is very high. She is very active and eats all the time. Their ped has has tests done on them but he concludes that they are healthy and that there is nothing to worry about. At one point he said I could put them on steroids to help them grow but didn't do that. Their dad and his family are small so I contribute it to that.

Some children are like this. My friend at age 20 is 5/7 and only weighs 98 pounds and the girl eats like crazy. Some people are ment to be skinny. Also he could have just had a growth spurt sometimes when a kid grows in hight rapidly they will look alot thinner. If your realy worried take him to his doctor to have him looked at. They will give you better advice then us here on yahoo.

Much like the other answers posted so far, I agree to check with your pediatrician. However, I will admit that my 6yo (almost 7) daughter has weighed only 42 lbs. for the last 2 1/2 yrs. On the other hand, my 5yo son has also weighed 42 lbs. for the last 2 1/2 years.
My point is that each child is different, and will grow at their own pace. As long as the child is active and eats well balanced meals, he is fine.

I think that unless a child has fever or apparently suffering from something, a parent should never worry. A paediatrician remains the best adviser of course. I will never take the symptom "active" a source of anxiety. Just seek the advice of a physician to appease your worries. The fact remains that I'd rather have a skinny agile healthy child than a slow-moving chubby child.

If you know that he is eating well and not sick don't worry. I know people who are very then and have always been like that. Some stay like that even when they get to adult hood. Others change once they are older and start gaining weight. So don't worry unless he is weak or sickly. Him being thin could be a norm for him. As being a little heavy weight is a norm for some.

He may just have a high metabolism and burns off everything as fast as he takes it in.
If he has recently lost a lot of weight, and that is why he is now so small then you may want to have him checked out by his pediatrician.
If he has always been this way and both of his parents are also built the same way then it is probably just genetic.
As long as the pediatrician isn't concerned then I wouldn't be. I would rather my child has a slight build then be overweight!

I can see your concern. 24 kg is very light for an 11 year old. It may be worth talking to a paediatrician. Try to see one at the children's hospital if you are near one as then they can refer you to a dietitian or whatever else is needed and its covered by medicare so it doesn't cost and they are the best doctors around
