I know part of a quote; the gist of which goes something like: "More money doesn't make a better soldier, writer or professor".

Problem is I don't know the professions (i.e. it could be musician, farmer and lawyer for all I remember).

I think it was written by a Russian author, but am not sure.

But it could apply to any profession! Like when you say 'money cannot buy you happiness', it covers all forms and sources of happiness!
