I know it can sometimes be arrogant for a guy to approach a girl, especially if his approach is really pushy, but at the same time, society makes it to where guys have to approach a girl, unless they want to be single forever.
Is it creepy if a guy you hardly know suddenly calls you, and you didn't even give him your phone number?

Oh, I got the number from a male friend of her's, who I know. I didn't even ask, I just looked into the phone, and wrote it down. So, no one knows I have it.

Yup, unless he can come up with a reasonable way he got your phone number. Afterall, it worked for years before there was email and text msgs and all the electronic stuff. We just got the number from a friend who had it and called.
Really, gals only find creepy guys creepy and for some women the line between creepy and normal is very thin.
If you think you are a creepy guy, ask some of your friends sisters why you seem to be that way...I am assuming you have no real close female friends to ask, or you wouldn't be thinking you were creepy LOL

ok first things first...yhes it is creepy for a guy you hardly know to call you when you did not give him the number. It will make the girl think that you are a weird stalker and then she will be afraid ofyou. The best thing to do is to get her attention in some way, talk to her, write her a letter or email, but if you can just talk to her and engage in chit chat and ask if it would be ok to call her sometime if the conversation is going well. Girls won't bite...you may face rejection as everyone does at points in life but just remember that not everyone is suited to be with everyone else and it will take time but DEFINATELY get permission to call first or you will be out of the game before you even start.

If a guy is quiet or shy, then you don't know much about him. Therefor I think it is fear of the unknown. We tend to make assumptions about things we have no knowledge of, out of fear. And I think those assumptions or judgments are an attempt to explain to ourselves what we don't know. And even if it's not correct, at least we have some kind of explanation to comfort ourselves, even if it's only in our mind. When I say "we" and "our", I mean humans in general. I personally do my best not to judge or make assumptions about people when I have no clue what they are really like. Because if I make a negative assumption about someone, then that's a potential friend that I have just closed myself to knowing.

Yes it would be creepy for her, unless she likes you a lot too. Then little angels would be flying around her head singing hallelujah. It would probably be best to play it safe and try talking to her a few times in person before you actually call her. Then you can be right there and see her reaction when you are actually speaking, and you could get to know her a little before actually calling her.

YES. i'd like to say that louder, but i can only go so loud while typing. the word 'stalker' comes to mind. and it's the same if a shy guy calls a girl, and an arrogant one calls. i'd get to know the girl first, regardless of WHO you are, unless you want the cops showing up on your front step.

yeah, that would be creepy. But to tell u the truth, quite guys are the bset. That means they are deep thinkers and have a cute shyness thing about them. But, yeah, I agree. Society does make it like that, it really only works thatway if she is shy too. If you like someone, take a chance.

ya know if you have her number then you just call her she might be a little creeped out lol.Society does make it where the guys ask out the girls though,there is nothing wrong with being quiet.I would try to get someone else to introduce you to her though

it might scare a girl if you call her and she did not give your her number but at the same time I know if it was me I would find it special if you went to the trouble to call me I might give you a chance unless the way you called me was just to much like stalking

Most girls are too superficial and stupid to notice any other guy besides arrogant, bad boy jerk types....but that's okay since the ones who go for those types are usually (female)-jerks themselves...it's all society/media thing.
