I firmly believe in having 5-6 small meals throughout the day, it keeps energy levels up and blood sugar stable. You dont need to convince me otherwise, or try to change my mind about that. However, according to weight watchers, I have been eating too many calories in my small meals...I am only allowed 20 points a day. How do you suggest I break that up? Anyone with good low point snack ideas that still contain protien of some sort? 20 points doesnt seem like a lot....anyway.

my favorite snack with some protein is light string cheese - 1 pt

High fiber foods help to keep your points down. Whole-wheat bread and brown rice are two examples.
I lowered my fat intake tremendously when I switched from whole milk to 2% and skim. Adding a lot of vegetables and fruits also helps a lot to fill you up so you can stretch your points throughout the day.
I may have a mid morning or afternoon meal of a toasted multi-grain english muffin with peanut butter, a banana and a cup of coffee with skim milk. In the evening I might have a baked apple with yogurt and a granola bar.
In general, look for low calorie, low fat and high fiber on the nutrition label to find good 1-2 point snacks.

Here's are some links to a useful site and forum that's quite popular with people following the weight watchers plan.

This is a w.w. forum that includes recipes, ideas for brown bag lunches, and the point values for all of the meals. You can follow the guide and manipulate portions to meet your daily goals.
