It's a secret society that basically is like a brotherhood. Where they watch over each other and make sure knowone does harm finacially or other ways to another. And they meet have socials and talk about politics the weather everything in between. My great grandparents were free masons and come from a long line of um. I really don't no much more then that because it's a secert society haha. But they were good people and were very intelligent. Masonry isn't really a religion based group as alot of deist's are suspected of being members. Really it's something knowone will ever know much about hence because it was a secret. But now it's very public and unsecretive the shriners are a degree of freemasons.

Even though they are very "Secretive" there are many documents on the secret ocoltic activity of the Masons...
Most people refer to them as "Freemasons" or "Freemasonarys"
they once were called "The Templars" or "the Knights of the Templars"
They have existed for centurys but just recentally have been well known... they even have a popular website trying to recruit people to Join their mason club, or "Lodge"...
There are a lot to be said about present day masons... they work in secret... they have hidden agendas...
if you look at the map of Washington DC you will see that the design was taken from satanic symbols... and that the masionic hand sings are satanic in nature... there is a sworn oath that is also very ocultic in nature...

Masons, Masonry, Freemasons.
A Pretty public fraternal order. They only require belief in a "God as you understand him to be," for membership.
They do a lot of good stuff, like the Shriner's Hospital for Children which is for treating children with severe burns.
You likely have a Shrine or Mason's Lodge (Temple) in your town.
The Conspiracy theorists have turned Freemasonry into an Icon of secrecy, it is not like that.
If it was such a secret how come everybody knows so much about it?

regular masons - do good work around the community and live by good moral codes
