anything will make your waist bigger mostly chips, MC Donald's, kfc and all that jazz but the best stuff to have is salads, protein like fish, chicken without the skin and drink lots of water if you have everything in moderation you ll be fine and lots of exercises eat to live don't live to eat

no one type of food gets directly stored in the mid-section. a caloric excess over an extended period of time with an insufficient level of daily activity causes weight gain. genetics determines where fat gets stored but typically weight gain is from the mid-section then out towards the extremities

I definately made my waist bigger with regular trips to Wendys for their chicken nuggets and frosty. I promise that will do the trick, as long as you are consistent with it!
