Most do. There are some that only care enough to have a reason to hop on thier soapbox and run thier mouths. But in general most people do care about the enviroment. At least as far as it concerns them.

I dont know what exactly the answer is. Because there are so many kinds of people. Some of them dont care of environment. They dont do even the easiest things (put the rubbish into the rubbish bin) to protect environment. They throw about a thousand tons of rubbish every year , they let the air, water,... polluted. I wonder to know that:" Do they know that the environment is in very bad condition?"
But still , there are also a lot of people who care of the environment too. These people are trying to do everything to protect the environment.

no. had they cared for the environment, they wouldn't have cut trees and made horrible tall concrete structures in place of them. they would have tried to trot the globe on foot or environment friendly transport, may be for their daily chorus also. they would have made their veg chutneys on stone rather than using electric appliances.there is a long list for the abuse of our surroundings. so the q e d is people really care a damn for the environment.

People who are focussed on money and vain are not concerned they are so much engrossed in themselves.
People who are aware of Quality of life are concerned, a clean / green environment is a huge factor for having good quality of life.

I don't think people care about environment. If they do, why pollution keep increasing, deforestation occur etc. We are very greedy, know that If we keep temp ring with nature, struggle to survive own existence.
