That's the thing, I'm not anorexic or bulemic or anything. I love food. I'm eating potato chips right now, and I'm usually eating something all throughout the day, which is why I'm wondering about this because it's not like I'm going out of my way to be this thin. *laughs* God, the way I eat I should be OVERweight, not UNDERweight.

do you have normal eating habits? do you exercise excessively? your weight is very low for your height. if you don't have an eating disorder, maintain normal eating habits but still can't maintain a normal body weight, you should talk to your doctor.

Being underweight can have serious health considerations. It can alter your endocrine system functioning (hormones) for one, which can affect many systems of your body.

I'd also recommend getting calories from something healthier than potato chips ;) You can still have high cholesterol even heart problems and be skinny.

It is possible you have a physiological poblem causing your weight loss. I'd be seeing a doctor and having him do blood work to make sure that you're in good health besides being underweight. He could also discuss in more depth whatever health concerns there might be for you and suggest changes in diet/lifestyle that may be beneficial to you.

Also consider if you smoke or use any recreational drugs. These can also be affecting you and these can have even more serious side effects than just being underweight alone can.

It depends on your body type. If you have a very small body frame then its okay to be that weight. But it depends on your eating habits and exercise.
