I saw many ugly people everywhere.
You can't help the way you look...
just go out there with confidence...
And just ignore stupid people.

Well . . . if the only things wrong with you are your hair, clothes, and to some extent your physique, then you can change that easily enough. For example, when I was in high school I had hair that was down in my face. It looked so stupid, because it was wavy and I was trying to do a look with bangs. One summer, someone suggested that I comb it back. Well, it stayed in place when I combed it back (it stays in roughly the position it dries in). I like that look, so I still have it. Clothes . . . well, you can get pretty sharp looking clothes at Walmart, actually. Not too expensive either. But if you can't iron, and no one can iron for you, try to avoid things that need to be ironed (typically cotton shirts, and certain other soft materials). If you're fat, start exercising. Now, the fact that you aren't in high school is a little troubling. You need education to do anything in life. Really, there's a lot you can do to improve yourself without that much effort. All it takes is the courage to experiment and a modest budget. Oh yeah . . . after you start looking fairly normal, try talking to people. It's not good to be alone all the time. Good luck!

Yea, I stay in a lot (a LOT) too, but when I do go out, I just figure, if they want to look at me, that's fine. If they wanna judge ya, they better have the guts to say it to your face, if not, ta hell with 'em. Carry yourself high, ta hell with all the losers into all the hair and cloths, and whatever else there may be. Just work hard, be yourself....I can't think of much more, sorry.

I just read those comments. Just because you're doing this, it doesn't mean you're depressed (doesn't mean you're not). I've been to a therapist, and she said I was depressed (this is because I didn't want to be there), but guess what, the people I spend my time with, the people who know me, they disagree. Ask a friend or something, don't go to a therapist unless you have multiple people (who really know you) say you need to. Ya know what I like to call 'em? I call 'em a bunch of ******' know-it-alls.

What I feel you need is an IDENTITY. If you know who you really are deep inside, you won't care about what other people think or say about you. Naturally, being proud of yourself makes you more confident. Get some decent clothes and a cool haircut to match your identity.

you sound depressed. how long are u going to continue this way? how are u ever going to change and make ur life what u want if u stay cooped up in the house? where are ur parents? speak to a counsellor in school. u just cant stay home. if u dont like ur life and how u look and how u dress, then do something about it.

Why do you think people are looking or staring at you? It sounds like you have a very low opinion of yourself--did something happen that you feel this way?? It's not healthy to isolate yourself from people--that will contribute to depression. I would definitely speak to someone about your situation....you don't deserve to live like this.

Noone's gona laugh at you if you got something you're really good at. If you got one thing everyone know you can do better than anybody they won't laugh at your face. Video games don't count.
