why don't sheep shrink when it rains on them?

Because they usually lay flat to dry!!! LOL

because rain is cold water and whilst still on the sheep, wool has natural oils in it(Lanolin), once it has been shorn and washed with a gazillion chemicals and spun, all the natural oils that protect it are gone.

Hehe... good question. I guess it might have something to do with the way in which wool is turned into thread.

Because their wool is not woven.
