My child donates at school one of those big buses comes..she likes donating she says after wards they give her snacks so you won't get dizzy. She is her normal self when she gets home..As to the benefits apart that one is helping others I don't know.

Your body will replace the blood cells within a relatively short period of time. A recent study indicates that donating blood my be healthy for men in developed country's as it reduces the amount of excess iron in the blood stream.
