Certainly! Alter your diet to consume less calories than your body naturally burns. Don't ever starve yourself, though. You'll actually gain weight more easily as your metabolism slows down to accomodate.

Keep in mind it takes burning 3,500 calories to eliminate 1 pound of fat. Ideal weight loss is approximately 1 lb per week. Any faster can be dangerous but it does depend on your unique conditions/situation.

If you want to exercise do cardio. Walking, running, biking, etc. You will build SOME muscle, but you will not bulk up. It's essential to a healthy body and lifestyle anyway, so I'd consider adding for that alone.

You can do weights, too. The key to that is to do low weight, high repetition. The benefit of this is that it helps tone what you have. Also regular stretching helps prevent muscle bulking to a certain degree. Well stretched muscles tend to be less bulky.

But keep in mind some muscle isn't a bad thing. Muscles are calorie greedy and more of them helps you burn the fat better.

Good luck!

Cardio is the best way to burn fat without gaining muscle. Running, jogging, walking, stair climbing, etc. All the things that get your heart pumping. Start with 10-15 mins of cardio a day and work up to half an hour. Don't forget to stretch befor and after either. Hope this helps.

Consume less calories. Hit the sauna, that will increase your body temp, which increases fat loss. Run with an exra layer of clothes on, something thick, like a sweater.
