my hair is kinda thick and when it grows longer than 2 inches or so it starts to curl and it looks stupid i think. so the only hair cut i can really get is a krew cut. i think its impossible to style my hair, and gel doesnt do a thing with thick hair. any suggestion?

Adopt a style I refer to as "Old Testament Prophet." (Thus tying it in to Religion and Spirituality!) My husband's hair is just like yours, curly and thick when it is short. However, if you have the patience to let it grow and grow, the weight of the hair will eventually straighten it, and it will be pleasantly wavy. Brush through it (difficult, I know, but you shouldn't have to do it often) and let it hang down free. You will get a lot of attention that way!

Crew cuts look stupid out of stile in 07. The only practical solution is a shaved head. Tell people you are on chemo. Then you will get their sympathy as well as understanding.
