Evil is often used to describe sin and vice versa. But are they the same? Discuss.
And is it possible that God is/was the creator of one, the other or both? Discuss.

I would not say that he created a physical, material evil, but moreso, I would stress the idea of the potential for evil.

Sin is created by churches and religion. Evil is created by the human heart. One is a social condemnation. The other is harming self or others.

God cannot create evil! Because evil is sin and sin is not God. But He allowed evil-ie Satan to exist. Because how would one know day withour night? just like how would one noe what good is without evil?so yea i hope that helps.

God is unable to sin, man brought sin into the world with the original sin of Adam and Eve.
