First of all, you have to be saved to go to Heaven. Being saved means asking for forgiveness of your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
A christian has NO desire to sin and Heaven is our reward for this.
We will have free will, same as here on Earth. That's why some of us will make it to Heaven and some that believe they deserve Heaven will not make it.
Pray for guidance and God will answer your questions in time. His time, not ours.....

Yes, satan sinned while in Heaven..... BUT he is NOT there any longer.

Yes there is free will in heaven for man. The only thing that changes is the body. Since you don't have an earthly fleshly body in heaven, you won't have a carnal nature anymore.

The Scriptures don't' give a lot of information about the angelic rebellion but it tells us enough to draw some tentative conclusions. There is no record of there having ever been any such rebellion before or since that mentioned in Isaiah 14:-12-17 and Ezekiel 28:11-19. Therefore, this may have been the one time that God allowed the angels to exercise their free will to either follow Him or rebel. As these passages indicate, the root of the rebellion was the pride of Lucifer (Satan). As perfect as the heavenly environment was, Lucifer desired to displace God and take over the throne of heaven.

It is believed that because God knew ahead of time what was going to happen, God allowed this unfortunate event to occur so that His own purposes could be accomplished.

God wants His creation to worship Him out of a heart of love, and not because we are preprogrammed robots. Because of Satan's fall, man was provided an alternative to God and a choice to make. Walk with Him or oppose Him.

I suppose C.S. Lewis would argue that we do in fact have free will in heaven--if it were otherwise we would be incomplete and trapped in a situation without choice, which would hardly be heavenly. But because we would be perfect in heaven, we would simply choose not to sin, and therefore there will not be any. This may seem like a cop out--'why did Satan sin as an angel?'-- but we are not angels and I suppose we only have the information that applies to us.

I agree with I'm Not in that we will still have free will as God did not make us robots. But if we made it thru all the trials and satan's deceptive devices here on earth and chose to follow and love the Lord, I'm pretty sure we'll continue to love and follow the Lord in heaven. And better yet, the deceiver will not be there.

You will not know what it is like in heaven till you die and cross over.

That's a question you should ask God.

Satan is an Angel of God that turned to evil. Since Angel's have power to go to and fro, Satan thought it was a good idea to be a wise "acre". God threw Satan out because God was tired of Satan's shinanigans.

I don't know anymore. But ask God. If God drops a sign in front of you or gives signs, be prepared for your answer, and stop being doubting Thomas so much. It's annoying to God.

I believe that before God created men, He created angels and Satan is one of them, who reside in heaven. When Satan disobeyed God because of his free will, God divided the heavens to separate the good (heaven) and the bad (Hell), and the neutral ground which is the Earth. Earth is where we now practice our free will. The Heaven and Hell now becomes a destination after Man has exercised his free will so that when we choose to go to either Heaven or Hell , free will no longer exists.

Here on earth we have a corrupted free will. We "will" for all the wrong things. When we are in Heaven, we still have the ability to sin as Satan did, but none of us will have the desire. Our true longing will be to serve and love God and glorify Him forever.

Satan was banished, but had the freedom to sin, God punished him for chosing poorly. Yes you have free will in heaven, but since you made it to heaven, doesen't it make sense that you will probably make the right choices in heaven, just as you did on earth?

If you believe in heaven and hell in the first place you have already become a robot.....obviously you MIGHT be a smart person, asking curious questions.

Keep on your track of asking. None of the bible really makes sense anyway, so get used to questioning it.

Sin began in angels and continued through man, sin has to be allowed to fully manifest in order to be fully judged and disposed of forever.

Sin is the result of flawed thinking

In Heaven, we will all fully realize the flaws in sin
And will not desire to sin. Because Sin will have been exposed in all of its possibilities, and all of its forms.
