I just saw an amazingly adorable dog today.
I picked it up and it was very light boned.
It's nature was very playful and sweeeeeeeeet!!! It gave everyone kisses.
Now this dog was about 9 inches tall, and looked very similar to a Japanese Spitz but was completely black, which I think doesn't happen for a Japanese Spitz.
It was not a Pomeranian or Long hair chihuahua either.

ANY ideas what it could have been?

I looked up some toy breeds but could not find one looking like this.

The owner brought it over from england, and it was fully grown.

Help?

Yup, agreed I'd say either a Shipperke or a German Spitz.
Shi...one that one(lol) has a slightly long snout I believe then the G. Spitz. And yes, either can be all black.

Either way ABSOLUTELY 100% Adorable.
Lucky you!!

Maybe it was a Schipperke

They are really smart dogs but very much into mischief. I had a friend that raised them and she said once you live with one; you cannot do without one. They are very clever and entertaining and naughty and enchanting.
