Yes.
The body, whether it's creamated or buried is just the "empty shell" that used to harbor your loved on.
They still "live on" regardless of what happened to the body.

Dead people - cremated or otherwise, don't communicate with the living. If anyone wishes that could be so, it would be me because my father, brother and mother all died within 8 months of each other, beginning in October 2004. I miss them terribly and would love it if they could communicate with me. Even if they had NOT been cremated (which they were), I still don't believe they would communicate with anyone they left behind, because not only does the Bible say that isn't so, but why on earth would someone whose soul is in Heaven, want to even think of anything other than the sheer bliss and joy they are experiencing with God?

No once you are cremated you lose that ability. The fact is any form of dead makes it sort of difficult to communicate with the living. Your vocal cords grow stiff when rigor mortars sets in making it hard to produce sound. Your tongue swell up and completely fills your mouth so if you did communicate it could only be a mumble. Sorry no further communication after death.

Creamated people can speak with the living at least as well as buried people.
