she doesn't feel comfortable ..... my brother was like that when he was that age but my mom was so insistent on him keeping his clothes on so he did eventually . make sure you dress her up with clothes that are a bit hard for her to get off

It must be something all kids do at one point...both my boys do it all the time and one of them is 7. They come in the door from school and they are down to thier underwear in a matter of minutes. It was frustrating at first but then i realised it wasnt that big of a deal. Its a matter of freedom and independence for them. I wouldnt put clothes on her that are restricting. Try dressing her in loose clothing so she doesnt feel the need to take them off all the time. Just basic jeans and t shirt worked best on my boys...they still do it sometimes though. Its a kid thing. But try to tell her that at home is the only place she can do this because it wouldnt be nice to do it anywhere else. Thats what i did. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem with my 19 month old. I make her either put here clothes on or since she's five, put her in time out for 5 mins at a time. Explain to her that she needs to keep her clothes on.

Haha! The sweet innocence of youth. To be able to run around in the buff! My 2 y/o son is like that and prob will be when he's 5. He loves getting out of the tub & running around the living room, even when we have company! My 4 y/o daughter, however, is just the opposite. She is extremely modest! What's funny is she won't change clothes in front of her little bro, but she'll take a bath with him. LOL- Kids are so funny. Your little girl will eventually grow out of it. Just let her know that when you have company, she needs to wear her clothes, because 'other ppl might get embarrassed.'

the nakie stage yes the parent vs child jeje you will loose this battle big time let her do as she wants what ever you say or do goes in one ear and out the other and yes i do agree with the previous post freedom kids love to be free and by striping they get a sense of freedom let her be it wont take her long before she goes to the dress stage or when she will not get nakie for anything

My one daughter does the same thing. Instead of making it a power struggle we have a deal, if there is anyone over at the house, she must at least wear pants, and when we leave the house, she must wear clothes. It doesn't bother me when we are at home.

because she is a child. My son is 7 and he is just now getting to where he does not throw a fit everytime he puts clothes on, but as soon as we are home, he strips. and underwear/socks, never wears them. she will grow out of it.

Don't worry about it - most children do it for a while. She'll stop when she regularly has other children over to play.
I did it too & my mother filmed me stripping off & playing in our yard. I didn't know until she trotted it out & played it for my first boyfriend.
Please don't do that to her!

It was always a fun game for my kids. I or my wife put the cloths on and they took them off. Don't work she'll grow out of it.
