First of all, I'm no saint by any means. I quietly prayed to God many years ago when I just a girl to come into my heart, to guide me and stay with me always.
And though I've turned away from God many times through the course of my life I feel that he is always with me, guiding me as I asked him to all those years ago.
And no, I don't think God rejects anyone who comes with an humbled heart.

The first step is to admit you are a sinner and you need a Savior.

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Ask Him to Come into your heart and He will if you are truly sincere. Jesus knows your heart.

Jesus will never reject anyone. He wants a personal relationship with you more than you can ever imagine.
He doesn't force Himself on you, He's just waiting for you to ask Him into your life.

I accepted Jesus a year ago, and He has changed my heart and my life.

I never denied Jesus, but I didn't have a personal relationship
with Him.

Yes I have a personal relationship with God, as he is literally the father of my spirit.

Part of my relationship has to do with the way I'm living. Do I act one way at church on Sunday and differently the rest of the week? Do I give thought to my spirituality every day? Am I honest in my dealings with others? Do I do my best? Am I patient? Am I understanding? etc.

The other part is through daily prayer. I believe prayer to be a personal expression of faith and humility and an important part of my life. While hitting my knees is an important way to start and end the day, I can have a prayer in my heart as I go through my day. I don't repeat a particular pre-worded formula, but pray about what is in my heart. I can talk about things of significance during the day, problems I am facing, needs I have and especially to express thankfulness for what I have--family, food, shelter, happiness. I do ask for things when I am in need. Most often, however, my requests are blessings for others.

Two things to consider:
1. If I am not living right or repenting when I go wrong, then I may not be entitled to a particular blessing.
2. He will never reject anyone. I can ask for something, but sometimes the answer is NO. Like any parent/child relationship our vision is much shorter than the Lord's and what we ask for may not be in our best long-term interests.

Does he always answer? Yes, but not directly. I believe in direct revelation, but very few of us receive it because it isn't necessary. Many blessings come very subtly but we are too busy to recognize them. Others come through others around us.

The key is that I realized that I needed God in my life, that I was a sinner, according to God's Law.

I heard about Jesus, repented and believed and I invited Him to take control of my life. God is a gentleman and does not force Himself on anyone. His Holy Spirit has to draw you to Him. Most get to a point in their life where their heart is open to receive and no longer have a harden heart.

I read God's Word which speaks to me in spirit, what I read I do. If you stay in the Word long enough it becomes a part of you. You take on the mind of Christ. It is your thought-life where the communication takes place. I talk to God silently, or I talk to Him aloud when I pray. No I have not heard an audible voice. It is really hard to explain you just have to experience it.

Yes I can be rejected if I do not remain obedient, faithful and true till the end.

By reading your bible, fasting (that means go for a period of time without eating food, I would say at least 6 hours), and talk to Him even when He don't talk back.

Yes

You can reject Him, but He will never reject you

You probably know this, but It's hard to heard God if you have sin in your life, so the number one thing to do is: Not Sin.

I just talk to HIM. Call HIM by his real name, YAHWEH. Past that its like a conversations with anyone else for the most part.

HE answers by guiding my hand or my life to give me the answer I was seeking. Sometimes even giving me number combinations to use to look up passages for the answer. Its main reason why Bible is broke down into so many passages by number, each is an answer to something.

Since I just ask for information, truth, understanding, HE easily gives these to me. Those that ask for cars, wealth and material items will never get an answer. For they are not of HIS work. One does not need a new shirt to survive.

Good example was just last night. Been doing research on green homes, solar power, wind turbines, etc to try and figure out how I want to build my house and out of what. So much info out there I have been getting confused on which way to go. So I asked HIM to show me the best solution that would not hurt HIS planet. And HE did, simple, economical and very planet friendly, and cheap, that I liked :)

all you have to do sweetheart is pray to god and say "Lord I am a sinner and I believe in Jesus and that he died on the cross for my sins and i ask him to come into my heart now and be the Lord of my life" thats it. very simple. there is what you call a reprobate(look it up bible scholars) but that is only way god can reject you and its more like god sayin I give up on you.when you keep rejecting him. thats when god takes his holy spirit from you. you see the holy spirit draws everyyone to get saved all the time of peoples lives. its called conviction. when god gives up on you and takes that drawing away its called bein reprobate and most die shortly after that cause there is nothin standin in devils way then. i hope you understand the magnitude of what jesus has done for you enough to accept and follow him. If you dont want to ask jesus to come into your heart alone then go to a church and just tell them you need jesus and they ll know what to do. hope this helps you sweetheart. GOD LOVES YOU.

You need to only ask Him, and He will come into you and you will become a new creation. You admit you are a sinner, and ask that he take your sin and that He make you clean so you can fellowship with Him. He can not reject anyone who asks for His forgiveness.
He does not play games, and knows your heart better than you do. I will keep you in prayer for a while, if you don't object.

It works by admitting that you are a sinner and realizing that you have to pay for that sin. By believing that he came and lived a perfect life without sin and died on the cross for you. Believeing that he rose from the grave 3 days later. So that you could have everlasting life in a place called heaven. He that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. All you have to do is ask him to save you and if you believe in your heart in the afore mentioned. You are going to heaven. And he will not reject you

If you truly ask God and mean every word of it, He will never reject you. Once you are saved, you do not need to worry, even when you have sinned. He still loves you and will forgive you. Just ask Him to take your heart and let you become one of His children. I hope you are planning on this, and if so, I give you the deepest congratulations!
