Since this is the Yahoo UK & Ireland site, I'd guess most of us are from the UK, but there do seem to be an awful lot of Americans wander into here.

Well now, sometimes calling a Texan an American can get the feathers up about as fast as a Scot being called Scotch or British.
America is home base for some of the most fanatic Christian sects in the world and a lot of them want to "save" everybody on the Internet even if they aren't asked and are politely told to "shove it mate."

Yes they are, im not and its pretty obvious to me when an american is answering a question. Someone asked a similar question before to get an idea of the demographics and most people on here are american especialy this time of the day. later there are less online though but not really more from other countries.

No your not wrong , while most of the uk are sleeping (unlike some of us) they choose all english questions (bottom left questions page) instead of usa only !!!! happens a lot during the day also ???? our site must be more fun !!

not me. I live up a hill in the remote north east of scotland. Its nice to read that there are users from all over the world, if you'd told me when I was growin up how easy worldwide communication would be I'd have given you a wet slap and told you to wake up!!!

I think that maybe 60% of us are. But there are many from around the world. I think it depends on what time of day you log on. It is almost 2:00am here.

Depends on the time of day. Americans probably predominate overall, but if you log on at different times you can see waves of Brits, Australians, and people from India and Pakistan at different times of day.
