Why does my Mitsubishi HC900 projector turn itself off after only two minutes?

It just started doing this last night. The unit works just fine for a minute or two then shuts down.

It tries to protect itself. Either overheats (so make sure the fan works) or maybe it thinks the bulb is old and needs to be replaced

needs a fan, a light bulb change, better electricity.
