If you're on a 1,500 calories diet, that'll be like about 500 calories a meal (3 meals a day). Special K will work because you're taking about 110 calories a meal (if you measure exactly 1 cup of cereal a sitting with the right milk, etc). So if you eat it 2 times a day, you're taking about 220. That cuts out a lot of calories you would normally take, making it at least 720 calories a day... but it depends on your dinner and snacks too...
I tried it, but can't stand eating cereal 2 times a day, breakfast and lunch, everyday. I get tired and bored of eating the same thing over again so I look for other ways to lose the extra pounds. There's other cereals that has the same idea/plan. So I don't find special k to be that "special." But my sister did it, and she looked a bit skinnier... so yeah, if you can stick to the diet, you can lose some lbs.

There's nothing special about it. It's just a low calorie meal. If you were to eat a huge bowl that makes up 2-3 servings then it won't work. Basically, if you eat 5-6 small meals a day that are well balanced with meats, veggies and carbs and exercise 4-5 days a week with weights and some morning cardio for 20 mins... it will work as well.
There are various ways to get healthy or healthier without just eating cereal or starving yourself. If you eat the 5-6 small meals you would be amazed at the transformation not to mention the energy level that you will have. Plus, it's more likely to stay off because it's sensible and not tortuous.

Special K is a calmly toasted breakfast cereal synthetic through the Kellogg Company. It is made in particular from rice and wheat. The identify used to be created through taking the K for Kellogg's and including the phrase "detailed" to it for advertising and marketing functions. Despite the identify, Special K does now not include any Vitamin K. I feel the Special K breakfast bars are notable notable YUMMY and that is what I feel is detailed. This used to be a laugh to reply. I certainly not particularly took the time to uncover out what the identify supposed. Most of the opposite cereals are named after what is in them, so this used to be a laugh!

Special K is low in calories and doesn't really have much substance so if you replace it with 2 meals for 2 weeks then YES. You will be lowering your calorie intake (unless your a big piggy at dinner). I like Special K but boy would I get hungry on 2 bowls a day til dinner.

yeah "if its eaten as part of a healthy diet and with exercise" - if your eating like crap it's not going to work. Any healthy cereal will do this.
