Ok so here goes the whole story: i moved to a new school, and there is this guy (we are both 16) well the thing is he always tries to keep a conversation going; whether he is asking me if i like “whatever” band, where do i live, how old i am, or he asks me when he needs help with a question in a subject in school (i almost never know the answers haha), I have also noticed that he touches my shoulder and back quite often, he also stares at me a lot. Well i don’t now he is really good-looking and i really aren’t that pretty.. so i don’t know. Could he like me? Or maybe it’s just my imagination? i mean how could he like soemone like me? i'm not special in anyway haha. What can I do to find out if he does? I don’t know, i seem to like him, but not really, imean he is really cute, but i don’t feel butterflies, or dont get sweaty hands or get nervous, but I think about him a lot... help please?!
I know teeenagers, instead of asking something better, haha well thanks

Well he must be attracted to something about you. Other wise he wouldn't try to make small talk and touch your shoulder and back. Butterflies are overrated...I felt that way only once about someone and it turned out she will never love me...so I had to move on. On the other hand..just cause he is cute doesn't mean you have to go out with him. But the both of you are probably infatuated with each other.
Ask him out and see what he says.. like go to a movie or get some grub or something. Get to know him better who knows those butterflys may pop up with just a lil time.

Since it is a new school watch out.. Find out if he is a player... Do it quietly though. In other words, don’t go asking people but keep listening for information.
But really... Just because you don't think you are special. He just might think you are.. He’ll ask you out sooner or later…

Chick, he likes you. Either that or he's gay and he really wants to be your bud.
And as for not being "that pretty", beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If he likes you, take it for what it is and don't EVER put yourself down. Now. Look in the mirror and repeat after me.... "I am a beautiful girl. I am funny and smart and beautiful".
Did you get all of that? Good. Now stop wondering and ask that boy on a date!

Of course he likes you. Show him you are interested. And guys can be pretty stupid about signals, so you might have to make it very obvious; like holding up a green light.
