I think that's bull!! I went straight to college out of high school because I knew what my goals were and what I need to do to achieve them. It's true that a lot of people suck it up the first few years cause of all the partying that goes on but it's up to you on how you spend your education and to set your priorities straight. If you want to go to college, go to college. If not, then don't. You really have to be committed of else it will be way overwhelming and a waste of time if your not committed. I personally think it's easier to go straight to college cause your high school can help you with the process and it's easier to get more scholarships straight out of high school. I have a lot f friends who wish they would have gone to school straight after cause it's harder to get into the schooling scene again. Do what you truly think would benefit you in the end!

I sure do! Every single person does not need to go to college and most of the time kids don't know what they want to do yet. Waiting a few years can really help and most students who go right out of high school aren't very serious about school. It's just a big party so they waste their money and a lot of time. Going hen you're a bit more mature tends to work out better.

i waited like 3 years before going to college and doing easy jobs, hourly thaught me what the world is outside and am still workin hard on ma school, which i wouldnt have straight away from high school. School aint the only way to success, but its the only place where working good u r successful. i saw a lot of funny people with some certificates makin a lot without communication skills, so u gotta learn both from life and school. i have my own place, and if i dont finish school doesnt matter, i still live, but out from high school with mom and dad beside u get hard time when u see other ppl. believe me

take care

I think right out of High School is the best because for me anyway I put it off and didn't attend until I was 34, trust me it's a lot harder at 34 than it would have been at 18 when hs was still fresh in my mind.

I think that time is a major factor in deciding to go to college right after college. I was choosing between computer science and physics as my major. For CS, I knew that I would be able to make money as soon as I graduate. That would be good money.

For physics, I wanted to continue to PH.D. program, which would have taken a lot of time. So I wanted to finish as soon as possible. Also there is the question of settling down too.

So for me, it was a result of time factor that made me start right after high school. Well, plus that is what all my classmates were doing anyways.

A lot of people go to college because they do not feel confident enough to face the world and start the working life at that stage. Also, most parents now consider it their duty to help their children reach up to college so that they can get a head start in life. Opportunities forCollege Education have also increased copmpared to olden days. Success in life is not dependent on your University Degrees but on what kind of person you are to begin with, and what you make of it thereafter.
