I like this guy at work a lot. I catch him looking at me but he really doesn't talk to me a lot. He will talk to everyone else but me it's simple conversation. Like "What are you going to do this weekend...really....uh huh" Then he will turn around and walk away. It is frustrating. I know he checks me out, I have caught him. But he just doesn't talk to me, like he talks with everyone else. It is obvious that he either likes me or hates me. Or he can tell I like him and just wants to stay away. Either way, I need some advice on what to do.

You probably intimidate him, try to be more open and ask him more questions about himself, maybe this will make him feel like your interested and he won't feel as intimidated by you.

You want to start off a conversation with : what do you like to do for fun? Or straight out ask him if you can get together some time and talk. If he doesn't break the ice and you don't either you will never know if he likes you. From what you are saying he does like you he is checking you out. So you should make a step and ask him some Questions. Keep it simple maybe you have something in common! Just be cool about it and tell him how you feel.

You really gotta get yourself together.. try getting him a coffee. He'll love the thought, unless he hates coffee, hahaha. But yeah, you gotta make the first move cos it doesn't seem like he will. And yeah, watch the reaction. Does he drink the coffee? Throws it away? Smiles when he gets it? Surprised? Shy? Flattered? Or just looks away without even saying thanks? You'll get a clue whether he likes you or hates you from there. And yeah, it also makes it clear to him that you are a friendly and approachable person :)

find someting that both of you are interested in and YOU start the conversation. maybe even ask him if he wants to go get a cup of coffee. see how he responds. it sounds like he's just a little too nervouse about something.

i think that he likes you even though he seems cold and distant. warm him up some, maybe he's just shy about you since he likes you. or he can be playing it "cool & suave" but he's just over doing it to where he looks like a super jerk. well, good luck w/ him and take care!
