Ok so the guy I like has a girlfriend, he is also my best friend and already knows I like him. Well now he goes and sends mixed signals to me, torturing my every BEING! Well, My friend says as long as I'm not there he talks about his girlfriend but as soon as I am near him he switches to another subject. Why is he acting so STUPID!?

He definitely wants the best of both worlds: you AND his girlfriend. But he can't, and he's aware of that. He probably wants you but doesn't want to ruin your friendship, especially your best friendship, as corny as that sounds. But he's your best friend, and it looks like to me you need a best friend talk because there's no sense for you to be continually hurt by his mixed signals.

The boy you are talking about isn't worth your frustration. He sounds young and confused, and perhaps he doesn't talk about his girlfriend around you because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Keep him in your heart as a friend, but not in your heart of hearts as a hopeful... you will find someone to reside there who won't confuse you with mixed messages.

the question isn't why isn't HE acting so stupid, the real question why are YOU acting so stupid. if you know these facts you mentioined above, why are you still on the guy's case in hopes he finds you attractive enough to go out with you. geez, if you want it so bad, take a risk and YOU ask HIM out, but if you do the right thing, which is, let him get over his gf and THEN find out how he feels twoards you. honestly, if he's still swooning over his ex, trying to get him to be with you is stupid. grow up and let him get over her. then jump in and save the day by telling him you'll love him forever or whatever you think is correct.

Maybe he is trying to spare you suffering of hearing her name from his lips cause he doesn't want to hurt you. Tell him he has a choice to dump her and go with you or stop flirting and teasing you cause you can't handle it.
You might have to end your friendship with him inorder to fully move on from him. I had to do that with a girl I liked.

he not know really how you feel about him so let him know that
you dotn appreicate the facf that he bring your girlfriend up
with every conversation. if not then time to let this one
go and move on.

Maybe he doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Like if he talked about her in front of you he might feel like he was rubbing it in your face.
