Likely both, right? As a Jew he would be celebrating hannukah and as a person he would be celebrating his own birthday.

Peace!

Can't see why He would not. Hannukah was originally secular, so maybe not. We see it mentioned here (but we don't see Jesus celebrating it):
John 10:22-23 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

Christmas is the only holiday that we know of that is celebrated by heaven:
Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
The wise men came and gave Jesus gifts because of His birth (even though they arrived some time later).
Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
So we know that it is alright to celebrate Christmas, and if that is the case, then we can know that Jesus is celebrating too (being both man and God). Of course it is not really about being His birthday, but rather this being the First Advent.

He would not celebrate christmas for several reasons...one it isnt even when HE was born, two it originates in paganism, and three, it wasnt customary to celebrate birthdays, if you notice, the bible only mentions, i believe only one or two accounts of birthday celebrations and they were by wicked people. as to hannukah...if it was a tradition created by man rather than GOD, then no, JESUS would not have celebrated that one either, not even to show honour or respect towards the jews. HE was more concerned with keeping GODS laws and feasts then with mans.

I believe that it would be neither.
Christmas is pagan, and Hannukah, I don't know. But why I think it is neither, is because the bible already set up holy days to follow in the Old Testament. But that changed when Jesus came, right? NO. If that changed, then why did Jesus keep them, still on their designated days. He did change them, because of him coming, but he didn't say no to them altogether. I think that he wouldn't celebrate Christmas either because A, its pagan, B, he wants us to remember his death, and C, because of this website.

Christmas is mans way of trying to celebrate Jesus birthday..I doubt Jesus would celebrate that or any other man made celebration. He was not about SELF.

Hannukah -- the Maccabean revolt was recent history. (~150BC); it was a secular celebration that was recently revived.

He wouldn't have been as big on Christmas since birthdays were minor then.

He would probably celebrate both with drunkards and whores, enjoying life, not having any real reason for either. Being that he found every moment holy there was no use for a special day. By the way Jesus wasn't born in December.

Hannukah. Jesus was a Jew.

Hi. I waited a while to answer this question because I was interested in reading the responses. It seems nobody understands the brilliance of your question - okay, maybe I don't too, you'll be the judge.

It seems to me that regardless of his "real" birthday, he'd absolutely celebrate both holidays as "his" day. If he were on earth today, he'd no doubt marvel at the fact that billions - BILLIONS - of people believe he was a great prophet - if not the son of God.

Fame is intoxicating. He'd be showing up at important occassions that mark both holidays - at least for the photo shoot. You'd do it too.
