The lukewarm Christian is not willing to kill infidels or non-believers. Atheists are not interested in killing anyone. In this regard the lukewarm Christian is like the non-believer but are posing as a Christian.
Therefore, if you aren't willing to murder in the name of Christ Jesus, you are worse if you call yourself a Christian, who is supposed to kill for Christ, than an atheist who is clearly not going to kill anyone for being superstitious.

Jesus stated in His Word that He'd rather you be hot or cold rather than lukewarm. That He'll spew lukewarm out of His mouth -- this is how much He detests lukewarmness. It's because a (hot) true christian is on fire for the Lord shown by His life and words. A nonchristian denies the Lord, but at least takes a stand. One is on one side of the fence and the other is on the other side. Whereas the lukewarm person straddles the fence with one foot in the Word and the other in the world -- not taking a stand for Christ, not making a choice to follow the Lord as master of their life. The lukewarm wears the christian label only without witnessing or walking with the Lord. Not to decide who your master is: God/Jesus or satan is to decide on satan --this is why they are worse. The last church age (now) will be full of lukewarm "christians" - the church of Laodocea. Read Revelation.

a person that only lives a christian life some of the time ,they are practicing Christians only when it is easiest, like lukewarm water they reside somewhere in the middle, neither hot or cold, a nonbeliever truly beliefs he is doing no wrong, because they have no faith, a lukewarm christian sins and knows they are doing wrong, as a parent which child would you be more angry with the child that sins out of ignorance or the child that knew better and sinned any way?

A lukewarm Christian does not live wholeheartedly by the Gospel of the Lord. This is worse than a nonbeliever because it destroys the image of God. By claiming God as our savior, but not living by his teachings we are showing believers and nonbelievers that God's will is not important. These lukewarm Christians may try to lead others to God, but could inadvertently lead them away from God by not doing His works and living for Him.

I believe that when your lukewarm that you know the truth and instead of living your life for Jesus you play with Him. Nonbelievers look at lukewarm Christians and think all Christians are hypocrites.

A lukewarm Christian goes the way of the world. You know the saying "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything"? That is a lukewarm Christian. God hates that because He wants us all to stand for something, not to sit on the fence.

Stand for God or for evil, just stand for something!

A "lukewarm Christian" is a person who has committed him/herself to Christ, knows the truth yet does not continue to act on it. He/she knows what they should be doing yet are not following what the New Testament tells them they should be doing. They are less than an infidel according to the scriptures. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
Thanks,

I think, because a lukewarm christian is one who actually knows what it is that he/she should do but they refuse to do it. It is their defiance which incites Gods anger.
A nonbeliever doesn't know any better.

They straddle the fence. Having a form of godliness but lacking the power therein. Not a Spirit-filled, Christ-honoring Church. They are satisfied with their outward profession.

This type of Church makes Jesus sick. They need to repent.
Unfortunately there are many Churches like that today.
