She can call and speak to someone in a support group, not face to face if that is a problem. Some times things seem worse than they are until you can actually share things with someone who can help you to relax and realize it not so bad.
I do not know the situation so its hard to know what to say.

Be there for her. You can help her out with options but try to avoid wording things in a way that sounds like you won't support her decision. If her situation is something where she has little choice just be there for her. Sometimes friends will simply remind each other that they are bigger than the problem. Remind her of who she was last week without making her feel bad. You're her friend and she has trusted her with her problem that may be all she needed from you.

Well if it is immediate danger call 911, if you would like information about look it up, but if she has like a problem and she came to you about but don't know how to answer then just console her and just be there for her, take it from me that is a BIG help...i hope that help. I really cannot help you any further unless you can tell me what is wrong.
